EMBER
The Pyrokinetic

Alone in fields all frozen
Tiger eyes, you stopped and gazed

A fiery figure sits proudly perched atop a rocky outcrop, chatting vividly with a dark companion who nods amusedly along with whatever she's saying. An orange macaw balances precariously on her shoulder, miraculously safe among the flames, squawking interjections, which the blazing woman always turns to nod agreeably with. There is an undeniable energy about her, in the way she gestures animatedly along with her rapid words, in the way the apparently harmless flames crowning her head and spanning her shoulders and back dance and grow brighter as the passion in her voice crescendos. "Ember," her companion speaks, gentle and fond, "settle down a bit."

Ember is an adventurous and curious woman, always climbing and inspecting things. One can expect to never see her standing still for more than a few moments, and often even Lotus isn't quite sure where she's gotten off to-- though unquestioning loyalty always sees Ember returning to her leader's side quickly when she is needed. She is seldom seen without Octavia, who always insists on going out with Ember on her explorations, partly to keep tabs on her location, partly to ensure her safety, and partly to simply be near her.

As a very physically affectionate person, Ember can often be seen resting on her friends when she finally settles down for a moment-- usually Octavia, though often enough Valkyr or Gara as well, and, much like the vast majority of her order, she is very close to Lotus. She is not, however, without a respect for the boundaries of others who are not so pleased with touch-- though the same cannot be said for her macaw, Jack, who helps himself to whomever's shoulder or head he so pleases.

breathes a lot of smoke; voice is a little husky
flames on her body are not harmful. flames produced by her abilities, however, very much are
she & Octavia are girlfriends they are in love. Ember blows things up by accident & Octavia is very proud of her
best friends with Gara, Octavia, & Valkyr. putting those 4 in a room together is a good way to make the room explode

Abilities

Fireball

Ember charges and releases a targeted ball of flame, scorching the first foe it strikes and bursting into a shower of painful sparks.

Immolation

Ember encloses herself in a vortex of flame that melts enemy projectiles before they break through to her and igniting any who draw near. Immolating for too long puts Ember at risk of overheating.

Fire Blast

Shedding built up flame from her Immolation, Ember looses an expanding ring of fire that knocks down enemies caught in its wake, burning off some of their defenses as it goes.

Inferno

Ember summons a storm of flaming meteors to rain down upon her enemies, killing those they strike directly and igniting any caught in the area of impact.
