The tiny ember that barely holds warring factions together was only the first in a seething, stirring wave that broke over the Killjoy lands. Dragons birthed from the chaos of war and the destruction of forest fires walk among the song brawlers and radio runners, now.

Jake, a towering figure and once-proud entertainer in his own right, carries the remains of a burning tree in his scales. The embers light up all along his underbelly, each breath he takes lighting them a little longer and in return preserving his own spirit. With heavy feet and movement like the swaying of branches in the wind, Jake moves forward, his past entirely set behind him.

Ash scatters in the breeze. The scent of smoke teases the nose. Thorns hold together the remains of a dragon that once was.

The Burning Legion bursts forth from the ashes of the forests left in flames after the war. Led by their queen and king, and sheltering the last dying ember, they tear across the wastes, leaving death and destruction in their wake, a danger to friend and to foe. Their scales are coals, their bellies lit with the last dregs of flames. Their presence lights up the Killjoys with fire, illuminating their burning souls.
