Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this curious adventurer wandered a little too far from her home lair (JustNobody546, 393568), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Essa is traveling in an effort to explore new places and learn who she is. She set off traveling at the same time as her friend Pumpkin, however they split up to cover more ground. Together they decided they would discover as many different places and dragons as they could and one day meet back home to tell their stories.
~
Even though she had dreamed of seeing the world since she was a hatchling, Essa was a little inexperienced in travelling. So her first stop was the Windsweapt Plateau. Here, dragons were restless by nature: Perhaps they could give her some tips, or at least point her in the right direction.
Sure enough, Essa only had a few moments to take in her surroundings before a pearlcatcher bounded up to her and started talking, excitedly. "A traveller! Hello! I'm Amazonite." She squinted her eyes at Essa. "You... seem new to this. Need some pointers?
Should I show you around my clan for starters, or would you rather travel to some remote corner of the world immediately? 'Cause trust me, I know that feeling."

(Feel free to add to her bio with your own lore or stories. You don't have to but i would love to help develop her character in an interesting way. Thanks.)

——————---

She may have been born in the land of the gladeskeeper, but something about the barren icecaps of the cloudscrape crags made her feel at ease, and at peace. Perhaps it was due to her tundra roots that made her feel at peace in the ice. She didn’t know why she thought that, but it felt right. She stepped into the snow, sand marched onwards, towards the faint glow of what she presumed was a dragon settlement.
As she got closer, it was clear that there were multiple camps, with a variety of different dragons. The biggest camp was the one she headed to first, not only was it closer, but the cold had started to seep into her fur, something she was not used to.

Upon entering the camp she was greeted by a large tundra dragon large tundra dragon, much like herself, and a small blue fae.

"Oh my! Hello! We haven't had a new face in a while, what brings you to the Isle of Dancing lights?" Essa blinked a bit in response, taken aback by the sudden speed in which the fae had spoken to her. She smiled softly.

"I'm just exploring to be honest, something about the ice called to me, and it just led me here." The fae laughed a bit, while the tundra gave her a warm smile.

"I see then, you're following your instincts." Essa raised a brow at that, but the tundra continued. "Well, you're welcome to stay here as long as you like." The fae next to him nodded enthusiastically.

"Of course, we'll go set up a camp for you, and you can make yourself at home hun." And in the blink of an eye, the fae was zooming off, and out of sight. The female tundra couldn't help but laugh a bit at her enthusiasm, it made it easier to relax.

"You'll get used to that. Seafoam has a knack for just disappearing in seconds. She can also reappear just as quickly. My names Shadow by the way." Essa smiled at him.

"I'm Essa. Thank you for letting me stay a bit. I've never been in such a cold area before. " Shadow laughed a bit.

"It's alright, we're generally open to anyone who wishes to stay for a bit, Especially out here. If you ever need any help, or have any questions, feel free to ask alright?" Essa nodded to him, as a cough sounded from behind them both. The female tundra turned around quickly, but breathed a bit in relief when it was just seafoam, and a green and brown tundra, the same height as her.

"This is Ragdoll, He just joined the clan about a few hours ago, he'll be you're neighbour during you're stay if that is ok with you?" Essa nodded, she honestly wouldn't mind the company. "In that case, just follow me, i'll show you the way to you're camps." She smiled warmly, and Essa smiled back. Ragdoll looked shy, and followed the two as they made their way over to the camp area, passing by other dragons who had made their camps around them. Everyone smiled and greeted them as they passed, introducing themselves and all offering to help if they ever needed it. It was amazing to see so many dragons being so friendly with each other, and it put the tundra's mind at ease.

As they got to the camp, Seafoam pointed to their dens, then disappeared to go do her own thing in the clan. Essa snuggled into her den, and looked out to the camps around her. Ragdoll settled down next to her, as he had expressed along the way that he didn't feel comfortable being on his own. She didn't mind, despite him being older than her, he acted much like a little kid, and it was kinda cute. Ragdoll curled up into her fur and fell asleep, and soon Essa did as well.

As the days went on, Essa had learnt a lot not just about living on the ice, but about tundra dragons as well. She learnt that the ice was the main home for tundra's, and that their fur was thick to accommodate the cold, although Essa's fur was thinner due to being born elsewhere., but it was still good at keeping her warm in this frozen wasteland. Soon she'd be back on the road, out to learn more about herself, and the world around her.

Her next stop was in the land of the Arcane. Wild things happened around the area and she found herself turned around until she happened upon a large Guardian dragon and his fae mate. They allowed her into her clan where the taught her some of the ways to navigate the Arcane. Zealaye, the friendly fae, showed her around. She met some nice dragons and dallied with them but the magic of the land had changed her looks. She now had a clown gene! Essa said goodbye to her daughter Lovia and her daughter's father before setting out into the world to she what she could learn next.
