Maxson acts more like a grumpy old man than his age demands. He prefers to keep to himself on the outskirts of the clan. He is known for being snappy and short-tempered, but there are a few dragons that have the pleasure of Maxson enjoying their company, even if he doesn’t act like it. Maxson’s affections come in the form of a few fish he saved for dragon’s he enjoys, or less snapping than usual.

Maxson travels as far as he needs to to fish. He grew up by the ocean, the last to leave his family. It holds a special place in his heart, it always will. He fishes for himself only, eating by himself and rarely bringing any back for the clan. He can swim faster than most ridgebacks, but he only swims when he knows he’s alone. It brings him back to his childhood, and he lives out his memories in the water.
