Astrix

Astrix's trade is that of fortunes, secrets, and enchantments. She serves as the clan's oracle and is strictly devoted to her worship of the Arcanist. She cares not of material possessions and instead collects secrets, and stories, only to be uttered again to the stars she scries from. Thusly, she is not susceptible to petty bribes of piles of gold. She takes her position seriously, and could not so easily be persuaded to lie for the benefit of a single individual. Though she is small, her powers are highly revered by the whole of the clan. She enjoys a position of status and power, but also of isolation, both emotionally and physically. For as long as she's lived, she has only held two loves, that of her work for her beloved Arcanist, and that of Sunspot, the matriarch of the clan and her one true lifelong friend. She knows, deep down, that Sunspot cares for her, as well, and would accept her advances, but her fierce loyalty to her work and fear of damaging both of their reputations keeps her from acting. What could they possibly make of it? The mysteriously widowed matriarch and her oracle being found out to be lovers... it could not go over well. What weight would her words hold, if the rest of the clan knew of her feelings for the matriarch? Her fears of the worst keep her frozen, confessions her heart begs to make forever left unsaid.
