Vernal started out as a prisoner.
A rouge mirror with no pack is odd indeed but it's not so odd to find a bandit dragon who can't seem to keep any company she finds. Sodansa was prepared to send her far away with more than a few scars but the leader's daughter had other plans. "Let me try something!" the young mirror begged her mother. Thus, Vernal found herself as the tag-a-long of her newfound 'friend.'
At first Vernal thought it was the end of her world and in a way it was. No more pillaging or one-dragon strike teams to steal food and get what she wanted. Nope instead she was teaching survival skills to a strong-willed but hot-headed Nature princess and constantly butting heads with her obnoxious fae guardian. Vernal wasn't too keen to stick around at first even if Jeanette was growing on her and Bluefrost was too much fun to mess around with. One day she would look towards the horizon again but until then she had a fellow mirror sister to look after and a fae guard to annoy and fluster.
Yes this was not the most ideal mirror pack but it was better than one she would find from her birthplace that was for sure.
