Named after a variety of flower that is associated with bashfulness


‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ It can be difficult being one of the largest dragon breeds, and therefore the easiest to notice, when you are also shy. Peony suffers from this issue, but tries his best to overcome his bashfulness and be friendly to others, although he is prone to stuttering and fidgeting when talking to someone new.

‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ He spends his time caring for flowering plants, harvesting flowers (but only a few at a time, so that there is enough for the native insects), and crafting colorful arrangements with them. Sometimes he must use tweezers to handle the dainty plants that are minuscule compared to him, but he does his job with care and love. He commonly makes flower garlands and bouquets, and also helps weave flowers into dragons' feathers and manes during festivities. Vormun also provides him with decorative succulents for his arrangements.
