A calm and collected dragon, Sanctuary has travelled far and wide across regions. He loved soaring into the skies, looking down to the world below him. He was born in the Viridian Labyrinth, but he has always felt like the gladekeeper isn't the correct diety for him to worship. He yearnt for freedom, flight, the skies. So, he left the labyrinth and his family behind.

His goal was the Windswept Plateau, the winds, the freedom, the flight he so yearned for. But he, of course being young and not quite knowing where he is going, got lost. He soon found himself in the middle of a storm; he soon realised he had flown to the wrong direction and that he was now in the Shifting expanse.

He managed to land in the unfamiliar territory, but he had no idea where to go. However; luck shone upon him: he found a young and broken girl, Rikki. Rikki had a similar story; she, too, had gotten lost and ended up at the shifting expanse. However, she had been there for a while and found a home for herself already, so Rikki invited Sanctuary with her to her new lair.

After a while of living with her, Sanctuary decided to settle down together with Rikki. Even though his heart yearns for freedom, he decided to stay, for his love for Rikki is too great to be able to leave her behind.
