- - - Aesher spent the majority of his youth captured and forced to perform for a wandering circus. It was an illegal business secretly showcasing oddities such as him to crowds of shady beastclans and dragons. Cursed to have multiple eyes by an unknown deity, Aesher had to be ogled and berated in a tiny cage at day and locked in a musty room at night. He eventually began reading discarded books in his prison and practicing his magic every night when he was alone. Once Aesher was more confident in his abilities, he planned to escape the circus with Alan, an eternally youthful helper at the circus who was sympathetic for the fae. With nothing but rags and a wolf pelt he stole from the ringleader, Aesher fought his way to freedom with Alan and never once looked back.

- - - Aesher and Alan wandered Sornieth for months before finally stumbling upon the clan in the Starfall Isles. They were immediately taken in and welcomed with enthusiasm- perhaps a bit too much enthusiasm, on Aesher's part. Whether it be his multiple eyes, his heightened wisdom, or his skillful magic, Aesher is now revered as a minor deity of knowledge within the clan. He tries to say that he is not what he seems, but the dragons of the clan do not believe him. His lair is becoming a little crowded from his clanmates' gifts he was too shy to refuse, but over time Aesher eventually became adjusted to his role in the clan. The drastic change from harsh circus life to being respected and even pampered was a little jarring at first, but now it fills Aesher's heart with gratitude- and also helps him realize that perhaps being special isn't such a bad thing.
