To ensure the Void's plague-like spell remains anchored onto Thunder-Arrow, a dragon manifested as an enforcer of the vile threat. Ending came to reside in the clan after being drawn to the otherworldly darkness taking up residence in the bowels of the clan's lair. Whilst his own magic was dark enough to apply himself to the House of Shadowstride, Ending fell victim to the spores of the Void and joined their ranks. He is unaware of his own possession, and the characteristic lust for power imbued on him by the Void further seeks to pull the dark coatl deeper into a fabricated reality. Unbeknownst to him; however, Ending was followed to Thunder-Arrow by none other than his eldest son, Wither. Ending's fate remains uncertain, for if his possession continues the Void may rise to power far faster than imagine, an the long night will never end..
