Biography

WATER-1.png
NEREN

fPthmqw.png

Neren is a bit of a notorious clan eccentric, in the way that most of the clan politely doesn't talk about and only really comes up some of the time. A burgeoning warrior, Neren's primary interests actually lie with snakes, serpents, Serthis, and all things that slither. It's an obsession she's fostered from a young age. Officially she works under Iravos, the clan's menagerie master, and he has put her interest to use in looking after the clan's live snakes and serpentine familiars. She also advises the clan's diplomats and leaders on various points of Serthis culture whenever we have dealings with those beastfolk, as she is very well-read on the subject, but her information sources can sometimes qualify as... questionable.

This is because Neren is part of a dragon cult which worships a forgotten Serthis deity. Whether this deity is in fact actually part of a Serthis religious practice is a bit up in the air, but Neren is really invested in the whole concept. As the only clan member who worships a snake goddess, she sometimes ventures out from time to time for secretive cult meetings. Most of the rest of us are willing to overlook it, though sometimes she gets into conflict with Prosper, the other resident dragon cultist who 'secretly' worships something other than The Eleven dragon deities.

We just let them hash it out on their own most of the time, honestly.
