Garlic is a peculiar dragon who hates everything that makes one not equal to another, most notable being that his heart breaks at the idea that some breeds cannot fly. He can't imagine not being able to take to the air, fly on the winds as free as a bird, going wherever he pleases.

He thought long and hard about how to fix this, because you can't just tape some wings on, say, a snapper and call it a day! No, no, he needed something else, something new.

Watching the Cloudsong drift by with its balloons, he got an idea. since so many dragons already live like that, why not make individual, smaller balloons for 1 person? That way, they can enjoy flying too!
Ever since, Garlic has devoted himself to making hot air balloons and zepelins, each one costumized to suit the dragon it's for. Colour, size, patterns, all of it. He enjoys doing this very much, and he feels quite satisfied with this job. There is no greater joy for him than watching a dragon who has never flown before take to the sky!
