Biography
"The Ebonhide Clan are a group of Obs/Obs/[yellowey through orangey tone] Imperials, under the rule of CuTar Ebonhide. They've taken over the Belows (and several other clans) by putting a lot of money into politics and getting into their leadership."
"Some of these wealthy Imperials have left their home to establish ties in other areas. SiMeavolent is one of these Imperials."

SiMeavolent sired two children during his time in the Ebonhide Clan. He could not exactly be described as “mates” with the mother, but the two got along well enough, so SiMeavolent was chosen to help her bear children for the good of the Clan. His firstborn daughter, Zerila, left upon reaching adulthood to seek out her own destiny. The younger of the two decided to stay, and was titled “BloodDebt”, Keeper of the Old Ways. SiMeavolent split from his temporary doe after that, his work as a father complete, but the two remained on good terms. Not long after his nest had grown up, SiMeavolent was given a different task. A caravan of Gaolers was traveling through Dragonhome, and CuTar realized that there was something to be gained by affiliating with them. After all, the group traveled all throughout Sornieth, and interacted with many clans. They could spread word of the Ebonhide Estate, and be the middleman to an increase of alliances and wealth to the group of Golden Imperials. Because of his excellent charisma, SiMeavolent was chosen to accompany them. His sister, Ayafeeia, was also granted permission to join them. Thus, the two introduced themselves to the leader of the Caravan, and were allowed to join, the keys to a powerful new alliance and a fortune-filled future. |

The both of them ended up finding a mate, a Skydancer for them each. But while Ayafeeia's relationship would last until death do them part, SiMeavolent's was doomed from the start. Maleficent was a scheming dragon, a Skydancer with a devilish look in her eyes that was always covered up by a beautiful smirk. She had sweet-talked her way into joining the Caravan, and had sweet-talked her way into SiMeavolent's heart. Perhaps she had loved him at one point, for their was no mischievous glint in her eyes when the two had their final fight-- but she had never loved her own children. Maleficent chose an orphan over her own flesh and blood, and SiMeavolent will never know why. SiMeavolent has promised himself that he will never love again. As far as he could tell, there had been nothing wrong in his relationship with Maleficent. It was healthy, and loving, and caring, and SiMeavolent doesn't know if he did something wrong or if Maleficent had somehow planned this from the start. Her excuse-- that he was but an emissary-- was shoddy and illogical. It couldn't have been the reason they split, right? Whatever the case may be, SiMeavolent knows that something is up. After she was turned into a Gaoler, Maleficent started sneaking off. She returns with an unfamiliar scent upon her fur, and continues to get away with it. While his first purpose was to act as the emissary for the Ebonhide Estate, SiMeavolent has taken on a secret second job. Find out what Maleficent is up to, and stop her at all costs. |

“Why?” the Imperial asked. He could hardly keep his voice from cracking. He sounded broken and hollow.
The Skydancer couldn’t even bring herself to look at him. “You are an emissary...” she finally replied. “I cannot be fully loyal to my home if I continue to go on like this.”
The little Gaoler hatchling squirmed in her arms. An orphaned Wildclaw. The Imperial couldn’t believe it. The Skydancer was choosing an orphan over her own children! “Why don’t you love them?” he croaked.
She stared at him with glassy eyes that saw right through him. “You could never understand. I’m sorry.”
He knew that couldn’t be the truth. It couldn’t be. He opened his mouth to speak again, but the Gaoler beat him to it. It let out the tiniest of cries, and the Skydancer turned away, shushing it with soft murmurs and promises.

Most Imperials lack the ability to actually love, and only possess the concept of obsession. They are worse than Guardians in this respect that they will not only refuse to leave the side of a mate or close friend, but have been known to sometimes kill the other so that they cannot leave. They hyperfixate on things easily, and Imperial parents will typically give a small trinket to a hatchling to prevent them from latching onto a nestmate and risk one or the other being killed.
