Biography
Title: Warrior
Local: Clan Proper
Mate; None
Ever since he reached adulthood, Moss has wandered in search of his thing to protect. His travels have taken him all over the world, from clan to clan. Maybe he will find his charge this time, maybe he wont. He is trying to do his best not to despair.
Lydia wrote him a haiku
I found a mountain
all covered in dripping green
please don't cry, mountain.
This bewildered Moss, until Drillix explained it was the fae's way of showing sympathy.
Update: On a chilly November evening, Moss was wandering home from yet another fruitless attempt at his search. He was gloomily reflecting on the fact that he was well into his adulthood and yet had not found his charge. Then he looked up and saw an autumn dryad making her way across the field of snow and dead bracken, a pair of rabbits in her arm and a badger trundling along after her.
And Moss felt what he had feared he would never feel - the draw of his charge. He hurried over, happier than he had ever been. This startled the dryad and her charges, and it took him a solid hour to coax them back over. Then he loaded them all up on his back and flew them to their destination.
Moss and the dryad got the animals settled down just as the snow started to fall, and then Moss took her home.
Moss is now very happy with his charge, and she with him. He still goes out wandering, but now he wanders with his charge, and helps her find animals to save. On warm nights he sleeps out with her, protecting her from what might harm her, and on cold nights she sleeps in the cave with him, and massages the cold out of his joints and limbs.
