Eliza hummed as she mixed the potion, a song she could never remember, but it was always there somewhere in her head. It would be her best yet. The masterpiece of her explosive performance.

If only she could get it to work right.

Her humming grew a touch more fervent as she cleaned up the shattered glass on the floor. Another failed experiment. But she couldn't quit. She had been working on this one for ages. The only potion that could give her what she wanted.

When she was young, she was trained under the wing of an extremely powerful mage. Now that she was gone something was missing. Something she needed. So, surely there was no harm in taking it back.

Surely.

Gods, she missed her.
