Biography

Though coming from a fire egg and originally named Ignepens, he was never raised by Coatls and had been abandoned in the Abiding Boneyard for unknown reasons. Here, he was found by a pack of Mirrors, who were shocked when the abandoned egg they brought back home hatched. The Mirrors raised him in their ways, however, to the detriment of Ignepens. Not only did he have to learn true dragon language quicker than other Coatls, he became a more pessimistic Coatl and gained a fear of others unlike him after the Mirrors would frequently lash out at him.

When he was of mature age, he escaped back to the Emberglow Hearth where he met Sergnis, who comforted him and he fell deeply in love with. However, when his wife began her peaceful alliance, Ignepens was once again afraid of the other dragons that came around their home often, especially the Mirror couple. He decided it was time to take up armor-smithing, just in case these new "friends" ever turned on the two.
