◆ "The tides are shifting - they say something is coming." ◆
Despite being originally from The Tangled Wood, Calypso had always had a certain affinity for water. When she was old enough, she moved from the territory of the Shadow Flight to live with her Aunt Boreale in Divinus. Under the guidance of Head Mage Vitra, she used her gift in magick to quickly gain the respect of her fellow clanmates. When asked about her talents, she would say that the water whispers things to her. Although a far-fetched claim, her ability to glean knowledge, intel, and "control" the tides make her hard to dismiss. She was still being groomed to succeed Vitra, but the sudden disappearances of previous Council Members pushed an emergency appointment so the burden would be better spread. Nervous but determined, Calypso hopes that she will lead the Clan well.
Calypso is soft-spoken, dreamy, intelligent, shy, and just a touch naive but she will do what she believes is best for the members of the Clan. She tries to avoid conflict, but she will call dragons out when they need to be put in place.
Fun Fact(s): Although she loves hatchlings and has a maternal nature towards younglings, she fears that she may pass her gifts onto any offspring. Although it's a blessing that she'd never give up, it had been quite... overwhelming and alienating in her youth. Given the right circumstances however she has thought about having children of her own if only she had the right partner to help lend a hand.
Calypso is usually underestimated because of her optimistic personality, but do not make that mistake. She was hand-picked by a veteran council member to become a leader for a reason. Much like the ocean, her placcid surface often hides a tumultuous and unforgiving riptide underneath..
