Biography
Name Origin: "飛鳥" (Asuka) | Japanese | lit. "to fly", "bird"
• Maps are ever-changing things. Kingdoms rise and fall, landscapes are transformed, and clans migrate. Though much of Sornieth is charted today, arguably just as much, if not more, has been lost with the passage of time.
• His mother being an anthropologist, Asuka has taken after her somewhat. He hopes to visit Sornieth's lesser-known regions and shed light on them so that they can be visited once again. Not only creating maps of them, but also writing about the culture of clans there, their wildlife, and his experiences.
• Asuka loves birds. He's created a map marking the territories of the different species found within Windswept Plateau and the routes to what he considers the best (and least invasive) viewing spots within the region.
• Being a Nocturne, he is fantastic at mimicking birdsong and often does it to draw flocks to him. It's fantastic for entertaining hatchlings or pestering his denmates. The Tickbird and Parrot perched on him believe he too is a bird.
• In addition to his cartography tools, he has a pouch filled with birdseed and berries on him at all times.
