well, what was she supposed to do? start walking? stumble around the cherry grove like some drunkard, wings beating against the thick treestumps?

Prattle sunk down and scooted up to the cherry tree under which she was seeking shelter. She didn't mind waiting of course, but not knowing when her brother would return was still very... frightening. If only she could SEE when he came.

It had been a few months since some.. something took her sight. The clan doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her sight, but still she could not see anything.
