╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Valda is a proud warrior who has gone through much in her life, but all of that cruelty and death only helped to make her kinder. She hopes to make the world a much better place for those weaker than her and to try and find a balance within the clan that she now finds herself in. Sometimes she can get haughty, but that is only when she is running on very little sleep or interacting with the worst criminals. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
Early Years
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯Valda was one of two children born of the Couslands, and was trained in the way of the sword from an early age by her mother. She was a prodigy and was often seen wiping the floor with her older brother whenever they would spar. When she reached the age of twenty years disaster finally decided to strike when her fathers forces along with her older brother were sent away to fight alongside the king at Ostagar. Taking advantage of the lack of warriors her families trusted friend and ally, Rendon Howe, decided to attack her families castle. It was only thanks to Warden-Commander Duncan that she managed to survive when her family didn't. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
The Blight
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯The Blight was hard for Valda, as soon after joining the Warden ranks all but two of her fellow Wardens were killed in battle due to the betrayal of the Kings father-in-law Loghain. With the knowledge that the Blight was actually beginning and wasn't a hoax, Valda alongside fellow Wardens Alistair and Kalum, a mabari hound named Barkspawn and Witch of the Wilds Morrigan began the journey across the continent in order to gather an army that could help them defeat the Arch-Demon Urthemiel. Along the way to gather those forces using the Grey Warden treaties they also recruited all manors of people ranging from Dwarves, assassins, Qunari, mages, and even a Golem. The strange group of travelers were involved in many different affairs that they weren't supposed to be apart of such as the crowning of dwarf king Bhelin, the destruction of the Anvil of the Void, the freeing of the werewolves curse, supporting the mages when the tower was overrun, and choosing for Alistair to be the next king. Thats when the three remaining Wardens learned the dark truth from their friend Morrigan, that one of them would have to die... or the two male wardens could sleep with her using an ancient ritual that would save their lives. Kalum, having had been in love with the witch during the year that they had been traveling volunteered for the task. The fight that ensued was full of blood and death, until Kalum performed the final blow alongside Valda, thus giving both of them the title Hero of Fereldan. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
After Blight-Current Time
╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯After the Blight was over Valda married Alistair and became his Queen while also running the new wardens headquarters at Amaranthine where she recruited Nathaniel Howe, Anders, Justice, Oghren, Sigrun, and Velanna to join the recovering Fereldan Wardens. During the Darkspawn Civil War, Valda decided to side with the Architect in the hopes of decreasing the amount of Darkspawn involved in future blights. Afterwards she abdicates her position to Howe before leaving in search of a cure to The Calling that all Wardens suffer from given enough time. How she along with other important members of Thedas got turned into dragons and got to Sornieth is a mystery to her. She also now possesses a strange new magic that the clan refers to as Rain flames. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
