• O R I G I N •
As a nameless child she had meant little more to her parents than a legacy. She spent most of her childhood on what ever fanciful pursuit she favored. Her focus was constantly scattered by distractions, and so the gentle guidance from her sire waned into cold detachment over time. Lacking the discipline necessary, she failed to choose an Order before she came of age. Cruel reality struck hard and fast: by the law of her people she was cast out into the cold tundra. She was left alone, angry and without a name or purpose. Only a wild energy propelled her forward towards what fate had in store for her. • P E R S O N A L I T Y • Easily distracted would be the worst trait of this huntress. She lacks the focus one might find in a leader, but makes up for that weakness in fierce loyalty to the one that saved her life. She is often perceived as distant or detached from those around her, more interested in the far off perimeter or the shadows nearby. She keeps most things to herself and is more interested in observation, choosing to express herself in minute ways. Her affections are hard won by those close to her, but not often expressed in very noticeable ways.
• C U R R E N T L Y •
Despite her thick fur, she still felt the bite of cold. Prey was scarce, and what she could find was difficult and dangerous to take on alone. Digging up vegetation buried deep under the hard packed ice and snow was not worth its meager sustenance. She wasted away, each day becoming more difficult than the last. Then, in the black of night she heard a Call rise above the evergreens. The fire in her breast had nearly died, and this sound rekindled it with each new voice that joined the haunting sound. Without thinking she flung her Voice into the sky. Suddenly she was racing across the snow towards the source of the Call. New energy filled her, made her feel alive again. The scene that unfolded before her was awe inspiring. The very next moment she leapt, claws extended, a yelp of pain, the fierce snarling of beasts in combat. Someone was barking orders and she followed them without question. The three hunters worked together like a well-oiled machine, each of them taking their turn at making their foul, shade-touched prey bleed. The beast fell, the battle was over. Two figures stood over the felled creature and prepared to drag it back to the Fortress of Ends to be judged. The energy that had filled her was ebbing away, her wounds ached and her vision swam. Then, everything faded to black. That night had been the one she realized her purpose. Given a second chance at life for answering the Call of the Hunt, a ceremony was conducted upon their return to the Fortress. Loyalties were pledged, and a name was chosen: Desmonia.

Her impressive antlers are used to herd and gore her prey. Desmonia is a Seeker Order Gaoler and runs in an all female pack. She is a fun loving soul who takes joy in the little things, and rarely takes anything for granted. Des keeps her past struggles behind her and urges her children to choose an order quickly or flee the harsh land of Ice so that they do not make the same mistakes she did. She was lucky; Sigra found her in the wilderness after she had been cast out and recruited her when she showed potential as a Huntress. This isn't something that happens to every outcast.
