  • Upon adjusting to a quiet, domestic life — and then exacerbated by the abrupt slaughter of Ajela'ar — Verdacia's become extremely materialistically sentimental. He's still struggling to accept it while not feeling guilty about 'cluttering' his and Ajani's new home in Nature.
  • Can't write, nor read very well.
  • Is a bit more verbal when comfortable (ie at home or around friends).
  • As a result from repeated injuries, his limbs' strength has deteriorated.
  • Is littered with scars, though the major ones are hidden.

    • The pair can be quite the sight, especially when conversing with each other. They prefer to use a unique language that consists of subtle hand gestures, especially when in public: specific placements and squeezes, with the occasional addition of simple signing for details, which's generally executed with their free hand. They're so in tune that sometimes all they need to do is share a look.

After a brutal life under Gwennant's greedy and toxic hold, Verdacia was finally set free by Ajela'ar's King, Malzahar, after it was clear Ver was going to willingly, illegally, kill Ajani during their sparring match (thus immediately giving away what type of fighter he had been raised as).

Despite what had just transpired, Ajani was the first to volunteer to take responsibility for Ver after noticing how lost the imperial looked as he watched Gwennant agree to Malzahar's option and left him behind without hesitation.

Months later, when he was settled in, the King offered Ver a position of Gate Guard and added him to Ajani's group. It gave him both a new purpose and a healthy outlet for his skills.
