After always being the odd one out of his peers and family, and after realising he doesn't have any aspirations or want a profession, he heard rumors of Hellwell's Greed. This was the perfect chance; a caravan full of dragons like him, dragons without a place to be.

The caravan allowed him to find himself, kind of. Rotta's still on a path to self-discovery, for now he's having fun, travelling, discovering new locations and most importantly, new mushrooms. Not only does he love cooking them, but he also studies them, as well as frogs and toads. He's infamously sharp-tongued, yet sheepish.

He's best bonded with Ihtiriekko from all of the caravan. Seittinen is a role model to Rotta, but he'd never admit that. He does have a sibling-like friendship with all of Hellwell's Greed, and doesn't feel like the odd one out anymore.
