[ VALKYRIE ] the WARQUEEN
- "We come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow"

"Coatl who are naturally born grey or white are regarded as bad omens, and often exiled from nests to protect the rest of the clutch from catching illness or ill luck."

These are the superstitions that have defined Valkyrie's life. How conflicted were her parents when she was born with colours of the cursed but the eyes of the most exalted among them; how the Gods must have been laughing when they decided to shape such an ironic creature into existence. "One bad egg spoils the clutch", they said and so she was cast out.

Despite the years of fending for herself, despite the weight of sadness and the pain of rejection, Valkyrie pulled through. Her will to live burning just a strong as the fire in her eyes. Even on her darkest and loneliest days she had something no one else could take from her - hope.
Happiness was just around the corner, all she had to do was spread her wings and fly.

And so she did.

Alighting in the Heartlands during the tyranny of the Golden God. And when he rained his Armageddon down upon them all, it was she who rose up to take the challenge. But she was not alone, the most exalted Wildclaws in all of Sornieth - the Valkyries fought alongside her, inspired by her prowess that matched theirs. As the bloodshed ended and the war was won her new comrades bestowed upon her their title as her true name: Valkyrie. The best of them all.
