Diana appeared not long after Bhurgarbha, his polar opposite in everything from color to personality. Everything she does is almost too animated, too expressive, too bright. She never seems to stop moving, always patrolling boundaries that only Bhurgarbha can see. She holds herself like a warrior, but has the enthusiasm and impulse control of a hatchling.

Diana talks almost nonstop. Sometimes in languages that nobody else has ever heard before. Anyone who manages to get a word in edgewise during a conversation seems to come out of it feeling a bit more peaceful than when they started. She always talks to Bhurgarbha, seemingly able to translate his silence into words, though those words are a secret between the two of them.

She spends the majority of her time glued to Bhurgarbha's side or patrolling, and doesn't do much else. She doesn't seem to need sleep, much like her polar opposite, but she does enjoy food and drink--even if she has stated that she does not require it. When questioned about her origins and her connection to Bhurgarbha, all she ever says is that she fights the shadows that trespass upon the world she's come to call home.

The hatchlings all believe she's from outer space. Diana does not discourage that belief.
