Phosphorus never felt like he was anything special. The great deeds of his parents left him feeling small, despite never being held to standards as high as those he held for himself. It was a restless, reckless sort of fervor that made him decide to travel in search of purpose, and it was a small accident of fate that led him to meet Marjani.

Brought into a home full of color and vigor, he thought this must be what his calling was. His talents as a dreamer were of use, and he was a part of something bigger, something potentially world-changing. The feeling of the fantastical caught him up, and in its clutches, he dove deeper into the unknown.

Phosphorus was in some kind of love. Maybe it was the feeling of being needed, but it brought him to places far from home, into realms of possibility. It wasn't until he began to see the fallout of his actions, and question the very need for his existence, that things began to stack up against him.
