Copper Pocketwatch 		A ridgeback with a strange aura about him. Nobody really knows why Avarice sticks around the dig team, as no one has ever really seen him do much excavation. However when a new relic is dug up, Avarice is nearly always one of the first dragons at the site to inspect the new precious artifact. It's quite clear he has an eye for the relics that are dug up, often estimating extremely well on how old said artifact is and what creatures likely had a hand in its making.

It should be noted that some of these precious relics have had a tendency to just disappear. While there's no real evidence leading to Avarice as the culprit, he's always seems a bit too eager to forget the subject when the next missing relic is brought up.
