Personality: Alystin is rather ditzy and gullible for a dragon. She loves changing shape into a half elf and swashbuckling (not really sailing, but being a fun, exciting, adventuring duelist with a rapier. ;) ) She relies a lot on her friends for decision making and feels uncomfortable thinking for herself. But in general she's very friendly and loves meeting new friends and chatting... well, chatting a lot!
History: Alystin, not being the brightest in her clutch was handed over by her mother to an half elven wizard to act as a familiar. She was a hatchling at the time and loved her new life! She adventured with him for years and when she was too old to be a familiar any longer the half elf kept her around as a companion and friend. She travelled all over the country seeing cities and varying people, learning varying stories, and adventuring. She had a taste for it and after the wizard retired he created a magical amulet for Alystin that would let her take the form of a half elf.
She adventured in a dungeon under a huge city for some time, it was here that she met, and adventured with, a gnome jester who trained ducks. She became enamoured with how the little ducks would follow him around and it sparked her love for ducks. (a huge love for ducks, she's a little duck obsessed.) During these adventures she wound up dyeing and was reincarnated into an actual half elf... and hated it. Eventually she saved up enough money to pay for a wish spell from a powerful wizard and returned to her true, draconic self.. and learned a lot of lessons along the way.
After meeting Tami she joined her party of shapeshifting dragons and started to adventure again. It was during this time she learned how to shapeshift into a humanoid form without the aid of magic.
Some years ago she fell in love with another brass dragon, who, after she had a clutch of eggs, claimed that he had business elsewhere and would be back... he was never seen by her again. Now she has a clutch of very young dragons, all six of them named after a duck in one way or another.
Recently the dragon adventuring party had a 25 year reunion and they joined together once again for adventure. She's delighted. ((OOC: yes, it was that long ago in RL. ^^; - Pooka))
