Waves once rose to protect lands. Though Mazu, Guardian of Seas, God of Tides soon fell into everyone's greatest fear. Insanity. Though its demise, it did not end but stopped in time. Where a bell will ring for the first and the last time, ring again. But it will not end.
Mazu, a fallen God who lost half of their divinity is drowning in their own waters. "This was the punishment I wanted?" Mazu whispered. "But, it wasn't a satisfying end." The Guardian quickly swerved around in the seas, twirling to the surface of the dark cloudy sky. A storm they have summoned themselves for "good." Though God's eyes still lurked into the sky, they fell back into the waters. "How much I restart. I want an end, an end I longed desire since my creation..."
They/It
Mazu, oldest Guardian that still remains upon Shui's whirlpool, had no guilt to their abusive power just to protect the oceans. Though, the only guilt was the future that holds on the ocean. To be flooded or to be sucked away. Mazu did not care for their people, but the people around them.
Details and Appearance
Mazu's body is incased of a watery material, highly doubt as water itself. Because of the thousands of years of being trapped under the water and the ocean, Mazu's body decayed. Only their memory kept them alive. Until Shui revived them, a ritual and spilled blood of all of the elements' deceased, their physical body formed under the ocean.
Backstory
Many years ago, roamed a dragon whose wings could calmly soar the water without disturbing its waved. Their name was Mazu, the Guardian Who Roamed The Seas, was their former title before it turned into the legend of Hurricane's Eye. The legend was a false rumor of Mazu, pictured them as a cruel Guardian who restricted their citizens. Those stories were false. Confirmed by seven guardians, but were outside of the waters. Of course, none of them listened, why would they listen to outsiders who knew nothing about their story? Until the Water Dweller, Shui raised from the shores brought the last hope of Mazu.
Mazu was a gentle giant. Shui said that all Mazu cared was the people, not the ocean's power. They gave gifts to those who were worthy, but when tensions developed on the other Leaders of Elements, Mazu had no choice but to seal the city.
