B I O G R A P H Y

______ Andromeda was born to Light, her clan ardent acolytes of the Daylight Sanctum. Among them, she was inundated with Light doctrine, but pushed to the point of fringe belief. There could only be Light in a virtuous Dragon’s life, only Truth. Possessing inner darkness and secrets was a character flaw to be purged, bleached out by the sun. And, try as she might, Andromeda still harbored resentment and chafed against the lack of privacy her clan’s dogma enforced.
______ She could tell no one how stifled she felt, how burnt and pained. Andromeda was filled with feelings that she had been taught could not exist, feelings of bitterness and rage. Rather than risk exile from her clan by breaking open with her hate in front of them, she fled with “Missionary Work” as her excuse. In truth, she had not intended to ever return to the land of Light and instead sought comfort in the Shadows.______

The shadows, in turn, brought comfort and purpose to her in the form of Umbra, a blessed Guardian that taught her how to open her emotions after so many years of shutting them inside. Umbra earned her undying loyalty, and her skills that had been honed by experience. Andromeda knew the Light like no other, knew what they wanted and what made them comfortable. She gleefully became her Lady’s spy, and was glad that the gold of her eyes hid the deep desire to see them all covered in Shadow.
