Biography

Emyrald
The inventor of the clan, and very smart
A bit eccentric, so she doesn't really have time for her children, Nilakanta and Merhunissa
She still tries to see them sometimes
She views Nithogg as a brief fling, and doesn't really want a serious or permanent relationship, so she can spend more time on her work
Nithogg left to live under the Gladekeeper anyways, so she doesn't have to worry about it

It's always curious when parents abandon a hatchling to die. Who would throw away that precious bit of life they had created, which while life was being given to it, they protected the egg. So why had Emyrald's been dropped in the Tsunami Flats? If it hadn't been for Brevity, a kind but occasionally spacey Imperial, traveling along the beaches for her research, Emyrald may have been a wild dragon, no home, all by herself in the vast world on Sorneith.

She hatched just a day before Brevity's biological eggs, but the four of them were raised as siblings. However, she felt a special bond with her surrogate mother, knowing full well the fate she had been saved from. Emyrald spent her hatchling days accompanying Brevity to her labs, watching her conduct experiments and invent new machines. As she grew, Brevity taught her all that she knew about the sciences, technology, and potion-making.

Now a full-grown Fae dragon, Emyrald is a scientist herself, working alongside Brevity as a sort of lab partner. However, she was given the great honor of becoming the Messenger of the Icewarden, often visiting the Southern Icefield to get the word of Icewarden and bring it back to Orta Raylen. Because of this, she occasionally has to put her own projects on hold, however she's always back soon, ready to work harder than ever.
