There is this space unknown
So deep, so dark, so ethereal
It haunts my dreams and troubled mind
And calls out to my yearning heart
I see those visions of blue
Of a silence so serene
Oh how I wish to visit this place
Where no man has ever been
To behold all of it
From the shimmering shallows to the deepest abyss
Know every tiny rainbow scale
And the darkness' lethal teeth
Yet they left their traces in the depths
People of times long past
They built temples in the azure realms
A city once beautiful and vast
A kingdom of white marble
Water that runs under the sea
And I see it cascade down murals
The history forgotten underneath
I let my thoughts wander
Out into the endless blue
I wish to give a lifetime
Just to explore its secrets anew
Deeper still do I sink
Tangled in the glow of jellyfish
In those ruins I shall sleep
Lost within ocean's keep
A world so foreign and strange
Yet I wish to call it home
Here I find myself at peace
Among the ghost fish and the stone
