Snow and Poe were found as eggs deep in the ground by Marshall, who subsequently hatched and raised them. _{Why they were found so far below is unclear, but they seemed to have been in an underground tunnel that subsequently collapsed...}

Though the tundra was young and brash, he still did his best to be a good dad, and the rest of the clan was there to assist. The two gaolers grew to be happy and healthy.

In her younger days Snow was known to be a bit of a whiny sort, but with age came some maturity and willingness to push herself out of her comfort zone. Snowdrop is learning from Clade, but isn't as devoted a student as most and spends much of her time caraven-hopping - or trying to - in the hopes of seeing the world firsthand.
