'Nice weather we're having.' | ____________________ |
Jeol™ is a special spiral that can only sneak. Completely useless, can serve as a distraction. Do not leave unattended in public. (You have been warned.) The SNEAKiest of all spirals to ever walk (fly? stumble?) across Sornieth, and also the most ridiculous. Eyeburningly neon green, he chose a dark, mysterious aesthetic and somehow made it work. Be prepared for shenanigans at every corner if Jeol is your companion. It's certainly debatable whether Jeol even is a Spiral: although his playful, mischievous nature is the norm for this breed, his bizarre half-running, half-flying and three-quarters upside-down perception of 'normal walking' is only one of the strange mysteries surrounding this derg. Add to that his odd ability to seemingly vanish into thin air in the very blink of an eye, and it becomes understandable that one might question exactly what kind of creature he is. Ever since he fell out of a tree onto an unsuspecting Aluna, he's been an integral member of the merry band of misfits that is Gᴜɪʟᴅ Eʟᴇᴠᴇɴ. However surprisingly strong or combat-worthy Jeol is, his real contribution to the group is a sense of levity and camaraderie; defusing tense situations with well-placed wit and preventing the team from going completely insane (though one could argue that they're all too far gone already). No-one can be sure whether Jeol does this purposefully or is just that good at unconsciously putting everyone at ease-- but whatever the case, it certainly helped the Guild get as far as it has today. |

Jeol quotes™ Favoured Skill “Unleashes a torrent of words that may or may not make sense. Confuses team, target and onlookers alike.” Has an 80% chance of confusing enemy. Success rate goes down the more times encountered. Boosts ally’s morale somewhat (by 10%). Does not actually apply the ‘confusion’ debuff to allies. FR-verse Implementation: Jeol legit confuses enemies with Jeol Quotes. No-one knows how to respond to being asked about the weather in the middle of battle, after all. Window leap A Second Favoured Skill? “Caster leaps through a nearby window, for some reason.” If caster’s SNEAK is above 5, the whole party may escape from a combat instance with 5% health remaining on all characters. If SNEAK is above 99, the whole party leaves with 100% health. One use per quest. FR-verse Implementation: Jeol flies around the battlefield stealthily and swiftly, picks everyone up with unprecedented strength and yeets off into the distance. Rebalance Why does Jeol get so many skills?!? “Do you ever think ten sneak is excessive?” Now Jeol manages not to be completely crap at everything and redistributes up to 5 points around to the other stats randomly, so he becomes slightly less useless. SNEAK™ ok i swear this is the last one "But you cannot, for I have SNEAK!" While active, the caster gains the SNEAK buff, avoiding melee combat. Other spells may still be cast, however they take twice as long to recharge. Increased movement speed (5%). Spell is passive but can be toggled on or off, and can be shared to entire party if needed. Unusable for 5 minutes if caster is hit by the REVEAL debuff. Sneak is automatically disengaged if user is hit or attacks for 10 seconds. SNEAK-related tomfoolery is allowed at discretion of user. FR-verse Implementation: Jeol disappears and is practically impossible to hit. Nobody knows how he does it, but some hypothesise that his trenchcoat is a strange variant of Marva's Invisibility Cloak that he can turn visible or invisible at will. |

Trenchcoat of Communism A simple, durable item of clothing. While worn, Stalin’s political maneuvering extends to the wearer and provides powered flight for a few seconds. Gives passive buff GLIDING. Do not boost while looking at ground. Small Shadowblade A small dagger, forged from materials from the Snek dimension. Short, but very sharp. Provides a small amount of damage to a target. 10% chance of crit, normal damage is multiplied by 2. Crit on bosses means crit chance raised to 35%. Provides +2 speed/agility. Binoculars of Far-Sight A passive item used to spot objects far away. Provides +4 Vigilance to user. Increases item pickup range, entity spotting distance and can spot basic traps, however, the user has no peripheral vision. Please get Abby to steer. Legendary Grimoire: The Communist Manifesto Launches a blast of Sovietness at up to 2 enemies, doing no damage but permanently turning them onto the side of the Glorious Worker’s Party and converting them into allies. Works best on simple minded creatures, or especially cute pets. Unfortunately, Miss Fletcher has been indoctrinating some creatures and so bosses are not afflicted, instead they lose 5% of their max health every 2 seconds over a period of 10 seconds. |
