What once was, rises again.
Yet once was, is no more.
Once was, still is:
lost.

Magic slowly gathered, years and centuries and days and decades worth. It seeped down the cracks and into the tunnels, building until it was almost palpable.

It's within the nature of Earth magic to remember, to keep the past part of the present.

Maybe that's why eyes of pure, glowing magic flickered to life; why bones long unmoving shifted and stood.

Why the lost Tundra continued its desperate search for a way out, hungry and scared and in pain, succumbing quickly to a chest wound and slowly to starvation.

Her magic still remembers her, all these years later, long after her flesh rotted to nothing and cobwebs covered her frame.

But in the mountainous amount of magic reanimating her, her magic became lost as she was, a small fraction trying to insist this is what was - what should should be.

It is in its nature to remember and yet, shamefully, much is forgotten before the other magic listens, before the merging of magics stop long enough to tell. Her magic, her essence, remembers her last moments: her emotions, words, and the memories and regrets she'd dwelled on as she died - but little else.

A residual echo of her is now all that's left, one that thinks itself desperate enough to resort to cannibalism to survive, scared enough to trust no one, and willing to do whatever it must to escape the tunnels that became her tomb.

She just wants to go home.

It/them/she, depending. Technically is just magic/an entity reanimating and inhabiting a body, not resurrecting the being that once lived in it.

Example sentences: It growled loudly, taking a menacing step forwards, their claws clattering loudly on the stone floor. She remembered what it was like vaguely, before the tunnels. It swiped at him, fueled by her anger. It shook their head, eying its prey; she was so hungry. Their eyes glowed brightly with their powerful Earth magic, wary of the strangers approaching them - she'd trusted a stranger, so long ago, and was stabbed for her stupidity (it wouldnt let that happen, never again).

Can only "replay" certain phrases from the time she wandered the tunnels. It can't change the way she says it, but can say it faster of slower, start and stop at any point in the phrase, and say it louder or quieter.

Super fast and flexible, strong but fragile. Fatigue is nonexistent to it. Is rather dumb, as it doesn't really have a brain, but rarely may attempt communication if you can trigger her more rational, calm side.

Died due to septic shock? Had an infected chest wound (caused by a dagger of some sort), was slightly dehydrated, and hadn't eaten in a couple (or just one?) weeks.
