The life of an assistant is not as easy as you'd imagine. Being smaller in size, Enes often has to reach small, dangerous places even her boss couldn’t reach and face the challenges that would go with living… Oh, who am I kidding? She was hired just to run errands for this dude who decided to live inside of an ocean only reachable by a faraway beach. By dangerous places, he means the outside world, and by challenges, he means any intruders who dare try to enter his chosen home. Especially that annoyingly curious Pearlcatcher right in front of her.

- Aww… Why can’t I come with you?

- What do you mean, “Why?” My boss doesn’t like outsiders, so anything you’d like to ask him, you’d have to ask me.

- I just wanna see him... Nothing more. Literally everyone in the clan wants to know what’s hiding at the abandoned beach…!

- You cannot just go see the Kraken like this…

- Except maybe that Gaoler kid.

Silence. Both pairs of eyes widen. One with regret. The other with wonder.

- Wait, what? A Kraken??

- Oh no…

- With a capital K???

- Should’ve kept my mouth shut…

The traveler’s eyes sparkle as her excitement grows.

- Really? How cool is that? A Kraken living near the village…

- My boss ordered me not to let anyone see him without his permission, that’s it. Now could you please go, I have somewhere to get to…?

Esmeralda stands still as the Tundra walks into the water… and turns her head.

- That means go away.

Pearl in claws, she hides behind a tree and watches Enes… melt into the water.

With tons of questions in her head, the Pearlcatcher stores her pearl in her bag and sneaks off the beach.
