 		Some time ago; a shadowy dragon made a beautiful discovery; one that involved a symbiotic relationship between plants and dragons. An amazing example of such, Midnight, had shadowy bramble tangled into his mane. "Oh, how fascinating..." The dragon thought to herself, looking down at the plant seeds in her claws...

Colony was a gardener all her life, and found calmness in watching her plants flourish. Her felt some sort of prowess in a successful harvest, providing food for the many Tundras in the clan. She lived a happy life, until she noticed; the clan leader's son, Midnight, had plants in his mane. But they weren't decoration, no, they were alive. Midnight was one of the most fit dragons in the clan, and ate and drank more than the other Tundras. Colony knew what this must mean. Midnight gave the plants food and protection, and they gave him strength and agility.

The Pearlcatcher thought that if that if a simple alchemist was able to create such a thing, a true gardener should as well! Colony got to work trying to figure out how Midnight got this anomaly to occur, even going as far as to steal one of the many familiars from Midnight's lab; a living cauldron filled with a pink substance.

She took some of the liquid and poured it on one of her many plants. It was Gloomsprite Bramble as she called it, a type of newly discovered plant-fusion she'd created. It was an amalgamation of vines, mushrooms, ad thorns all together as one, and even attracted small blue firefly-like creatures. As the pink liquid came in contact with the plant, the plant grew in mere seconds. Just a drop allowed the colony to spread a few feet in each direction in the span of merely a few minutes. Amazed, Colony did the unthinkable; poured some of the liquid on the plant, then put her arm right next to it. Over the course of a few minutes, the plant had spread across her hands, rooting itself in her scales. It didn't hurt, but it was certainly a strange experience.

A few weeks later, the Pearlcatcher felt renewed; the Gloomsprite Bramble had spread across her back, around her wings, and through her fur. She was finally just like Midnight, at long last! From there on out, she cared for the plant more than herself. It brought concern to everyone around her, with some dragons even going out of their way to stay out Colony's way in fear that they might get 'infected'. She was already nicknamed the Lunatic Gardener by now, but she had more plans. She offered dragons for the 'Power Of Gloomsprite' as she named it, almost treating it like a new god. Of course, no dragons obliged, scared that if they took the new infection too, they'd become crazy like her.

Colony was almost banished from the clan, but was saved by a bribe of money for Skyfall. She no longer tries to convert others, as so most think, but she could have plans for the future...
