Osiris may come across as ruthless, cold and apathetic due to his treatment of other dragons. On a good day his quick wit and tongue are sarcastic, insensitive and rude. On a bad day, he can be downright cruel and cold, just like the land where he was born. Empathy is as foreign and incomprehensible to him as laying eggs. His efforts to empathize with his clan were miserable failures. As a result he gave up trying to connect with his clan. However, his inability to forgive and forget keeps even the most hotblooded dragons from incurring his wrath. Thanks to his father's teachings, Osiris has no qualms about taking what he wants or using other dragons to get it.

Many dragons view Osiris as a calm and collected dragon even though he uses his icy personality to cover his emotions. Most of his clan would never know if he was broken or struggling emotionally, but Osiris would prefer to keep it that way. Headstrong and independent, he never trusts another dragon with anything, including his emotions.
