Sauthri is a refugee from the Magmablood Rebellion. When she and her siblings were displaced by the fighting, they traveled east to find refuge in the Scorchsky Aerie. Tragically, Syjun was separated from his younger siblings along the way, and they have lost contact. Neither Sauthri nor her brother Selovere know where he is, or if he is even alive.
Sauthri resigned herself long ago to the fact that they would probably never see Syjun again. She hopes against her own better logic that they will, for her brother’s sake- especially if the rumours about the Scorchsky Aerie are true. He was always closer to Syjun than she was. She worries for him.
