B I O G R A P H Y

Hana, meaning 'flower' in Japanese, was born to a pair of Spiral parents in Arcania. She was born into war and strife, as the dragon species of Arcania were at a terrible civil war. So Hana and her parents went into hiding, and resided in a remote jungle for a decade. It was there that Hana discovered her natural affinity with animals. She befriended animals easily and could understand them so well that her parents often called her the Animal Whisperer. Hana grew especially close to the jungle species of reptiles and amphibians, and being isolated from the rest of the dragon world in the first decade of her life, she made lifelong friends in a Green Tree Python and a Red-eyed Tree Frog. After the war, her parents moved out of the jungle and back into civilization, but they were concerned for Hana, who had stayed in the jungle, preferring the company of her animal friends.

It was then that Hana realized she had a great understanding of the medicinal quality of plants, so when one day her Tree Frog, aptly named Jungle, jumped onto a clump of thyme, she discovered her talent for brewing potions. So she moved back into civilization and set up a small little shop selling potions of the highest quality anyone in Arcania had ever seen. Her parents rejoiced at Hana integrating back into society, but Hana thought otherwise. She quickly disliked the hustle and bustle and noise pollution of the Marketplace of Arcania, and hated talking to other dragons when selling her potions; thus she moved back into the jungle, missing the peace and quiet, only disrupted by peaceful animal noises.

Eventually she befriended her familiar, a Serthis Potionmaster named, well, Slytherin. Hana decided not to close down her potion shop entirely, as doctors, sages, and sick dragons depended on her high quality medicinal potions. Becoming a rogue , she donned her current apparel (found in dressing room depiction at the bottom of the page) over the years as she kept making potions and taming animals at the same time. She opened up a sanctuary for dragons of Arcania to visit in the jungle home she loved, and raised her animals that she tamed in there. The sanctuary boasts of a collection of 1000+ different jungle animals, all of different species. Her Serthis Potionmaster helps operate her potion shop, selling the potions and earning funds for the sanctuary. All the funds goes to Hana, who uses them to keep her sanctuary operating. Over the course of running the sanctuary up to the present, Hana's social skills had improved at a rapid rate. Her parents could not be more proud of such a capable dragon.
