Ripun is the founder of the clan. Once a fierce exalt, he was allowed to leave the Stormcatcher's ranks under the condition that he would raise strong dragons to serve for the flight.

The mirror operates his clan a bit differently than others. The motto the clan was founded on is a dismissive 'take care of yourself' rule. This isn't necessarily a fend-for-yourself clan when it comes to necessities, but Ripun makes it clear that he has no interest to individually care for every single dragon, especially as the lair needs constant upgrading. He built the Sharrak Clan to be very role-oriented, with each dragon assigned to a duty that best matches with their skills and interests. They each contribute what they can, motivated by their own desire to survive and flourish together in the barren landscape without needing to be directly managed by Ripun. This method can be shaky at best, but generally the clan dragons enjoy a more lax leadership style that keeps Stormcatcher happy and lets them pursue their own interests as well.

Ripun generally spends his days ensuring that gathering and scavenging teams have been sent out, as he is now much too old to do so himself. A room can be tense when Ripun enters a den, as he tends to get picky with the lair's state and the amount of dragons occupying the space.
