Biography
He came from Pokemon Rumble World and he's Rusty and there's no Glowdrops so he's sad.
A Ridgeback hatchling clawed his way out of his tough shell, his developing spines scraping against the rough interior of his former rounded prison. He blinked in the relatively bright area of the nesting grounds, his newly former eyes slowly adjusting to the gloom of the Driftwood Drag. He gazed upward, to find a vicious, red clawed dragon staring down at him.
"Zephyr! Come look! This one is like me! Purple winged and ready for battle!"
Before the hatchling could object, he was being lifted into the air by his battle-scarred father, allowing him a glimpse at his shimmering Imperial mother.
"That's nice Seath, a 'Sheen 2.0'? Try not to overwhelm him with your expectations again."
The antler horned dragon said this without looking over, her attention plastered on the hatchling's slightly older sibling, an Imperial who was already galloping around the clearing. Seath snorted at his mate's lack of interest, and coddled the Ridgeback hatchling enough for the both of them. While cleaning the young dragon's belly, Seath noticed a flaw, a dull speck of carmine on his otherwise armor-like underbelly.
"That's no good, is it? Serpent will have to do a better job cleaning these nests, there's already mud on my new hatchlings!"
Zephyr made noises, saying he could try cleaning himself for once, to which the Ridgeback snorted. He had better things to do than to tidy up. And this hatchling would too, if he had his way...
During the following days, Seath Jr. (His father's idea of a name, unsurprisingly) grew up almost separately from his sister Undine. While his longer sister seemed to have boundless energy, Seath Jr. was perpetually exhausted, often slinking back to the nest when no one was looking. Of course, this could have been because of the constant training his father subjected him to, pitting him against dolls and deceased prey before he could officially join a Coliseum party. But the dull speck Seath had mistaken for mud grew with each passing day, covering his belly and legs and even speading to his glossy purple wings. His father tried to cover this up.
"It's just mud, my child is an active one, he's not afraid of the dirt!"
"It's just a few scratches, they've healed, and he'll be stronger because of them."
"My son is perfectly fine, why don't you go judge your own children? Oh wait you can't, you're infertile!"
Seath Sr. is truly a charming dragon. But even with his masterful deceptions, other clan members started noticing the growing rash on the young Ridgeback.
