The dirty mist rolls over the streets, the bells rub against eachother unnervingly, the bloodstained carpets leave an awful scent. Beheld in lamp-light while the mountain's crisp and cold, he stands in the alleyway and breathed in the smoke, numbness overtaking his body. Unmissable with his shining fur, he sauntered towards the broken gates of his home. The stairs were crooked and needed to be repaired; he scoffed and continued. His bijou wings unable to carry him far, he flit to the rooftop. He stares down at the small-scaled city, admiring it's sullen beauty. The breeze settles in and caressed his fur, moving in all directions. Footsteps heard and a husky voice spoke," Oh, you are here again. You can still hear the footsteps? Fret not, you know who I am."
Moshe turned his attention towards the feathered beast and signed with his head to follow. The busy feet and smiling eyes, the lava flow and the gardens planted on top of ruins, captured songbirds and vials of herbs and jewels. Bartering and trafficking valuables and shining stones, speaking ,"Adorn me with golden gems, shower me with wealth." Weak minds would not think twice about buying the cursed objects. In the depths of the raucous garden sits a rare gem under a ivory statue; fortune hangs still, depending on an answer. The spell caster's whisperes, the beastly creations of the necromancers, the sly snickers of the thieves. It's all that they would ever know...
