A mild mannered and quiet skydancer, Ortre is one of the backstage assistants for the travelling troupe. Doesn't talk much but is always happy to listen when invited to conversation and while she does prefer to keep out of the spotlight she loves to watch her wife peform.

Before coming to the troupe, Ortre once had an imperial partner whom she had raised many offspring with. Sadly as is the way with the unpredictable lifespan of imperial kind he passed away while still at a relatively young age for their kind leaving Ortre heartbroken.

While she would continue to stay with her old clan for some years after, eventually Ortre would leave to seek a new life so she could finally move on from her grief.

Eventually her travels would find her discovering the troupe and offering her services. There she would meet Azura, a friendly Nocturne who would show her the ropes. Azura's peppy and passionate nature would greatly endear Ortre, and Azura likewise would greatly enjoy being in Ortre's company.

Eventually Azura would ask Ortre to be her partner, and despite her tragic history with her last partner Ortre would accept as Azura made her happy and she did not wish to let the past withold her from starting again.

With the help of another male skydancer, the two would have offspring together two of whom now live in the clan. While Ortre still has worries about the past repeating itself, Azura is always there to reassure her that she won't be going anywhere and will always be there for her which brings Ortre comfort.
