Vax

Vax has been given a second chance at life, having been excommunicated from his clan after his lifestyle of seafaring piracy and underhanded thievery had come to light. He used to travel the seas under the rule of a pirate pearlcatcher named Yudhishthira (aka Judy) until their pirate ship was surrounded and captured by flight leaders. The crew jumped ship, by Vax's slow and ungainly swimming got a lot of them caught and put on trial.

He was sentenced to wander the lands with his wings bound by magical chains that even the more powerful mages could not break: only when he had done enough good to balance the harm he had done, would he be free of them.

Now Vax has joined his new clan, who are well aware of his history, and is currently working to pay off his debts to society by doing whatever tasks need to be done. The clans members are slow to warm up to him but as time goes on, maybe he will learn to make friends instead of viewing everyone as a potential enemy. As of right now, Vax’s old ex-crew assume he has died in the wilds.
