 Kincaide works with fabrics by trade. Her position on the Lapin is twofold: she repairs any damages to the ship's massive wings and gas bag, and spends her free time producing luxury crafts to sell at market.

It wasn't her birth clan, but Kincaide was taken at a young age by the same clan that Doll originated from and was treated much the same way. When the Lapin landed one day to trade with them, Kincaide was offered up as a bet at that night's poker game. Gambit, somewhat horrified, won the round and took the Spiral home alongside the money she had earned.

It took Kincaide a few years to learn how to be a normal dragon, and even now she is still terrified of larger individuals she's unfamiliar with. She views Gambit as a mother of sorts, Glade is fiercely defensive of her, and Sika and Aziz are both very gentle giants, so she is perfectly at home in the airship-- but big strangers tend to leave her mute and shaking, sometimes for days afterwards if they're aggressive.
