 		Lin's sole focus is on their work. One day, they hope to become a philosophy professor, or work under the Arcanist. From childhood, they have always been the studious type; always preferring to stay inside and read instead of play with the other dragons outside. This was the start of their hermit like way of life.

Entering into school, they were quickly bored by what was taught. They had already learned these things from the dozens upon dozens of books they had read, and didn't see the need to be taught it again. Unsatisfied with school, they dropped out and pursued studies on their own. Philosophy became a topic they were quickly engrossed with. The endless "what if" questions inspired them to record pages upon pages of answers to "what if"s. They would often spend days on end simply scrawling down their thoughts, never once stopping to eat or drink. This turned out to be a big problem, and resulted in them supplying nutrient-rich liquids by all of their work stations in order to avoid working themself into complete exhaustion again.

After publishing some of their writings, their work became very popular among philosophy-loving dragons. Many even came to Lin to talk to them about their work, and potentially even pursue a relationship with them. This was the major way that they discovered they were asexual, as they had no interest in being in a relationship with another dragon. Alas, they do hope to eventually have a romantic relationship one day.
