The Lively Dancer

The phrase that Janus lives by is “A good time is better than a long time”, which is usually followed by him doing something very stupid. There’s nothing he won’t do if it has the chance to turn into a great story down the line, getting himself into increasingly dangerous situations for a thrill and a laugh.

Everyone around him knows that the best way to get Janus to do something is to tell him he can’t, which he will immediately try to prove wrong. His quick wit and need to show off often get him into trouble, but his dashing looks, and well-placed flattery get him out of it just as fast.
The only thing quicker than Janus’s wit is his feet and whether it’s tapping out a tune on the ground or chasing his own tale in circles, he is always on the move, never content to stay in spot for more than a second. Because of this, dancing is second nature to him, finally giving him an outlet for all of his ceaseless energy.

Janus has had a hunger for adventure since the day he was born.
Life in his tiny nature village was far too quiet and peaceful for him so, as soon as he came of age, he hitched the first ride out of there with a traveling dance troupe passing through the area.

From there, Janus has journeyed with them across the globe, visiting all sorts of town and cities in every flight.
Since they never stay in one place too long, Janus makes the most of the time he has living it up; he spends his time partying and making merry and has been thrown in irons multiple times for his often disruptive antics..

Janus’s upbeat personality and roguish charm means that wherever they go he quickly finds himself surrounded by new friends; but he eventually has to move on and leave his friends behind, which never gets easier, no matter how used to it he is.

Although he loves exploring new horizons and meeting new people from all over the world, their life of traveling and preforming has begun to feel routine to Janus; just one performance after another, festival after festival. Until at one festival he met a coatl who swept him off his feet. Trillion was his name, an artist. He brought Janus into a whole new world, not one free from travel but one with much more to do. Modelling appointments, group dances, clubs, parties, the theatre. All run by dragons Trillion seemed to have at least a passing acquaintance with.

Janus immersed himself in this new world and soon was making friends of his own. For once Janus feels like he might have a good time and a long time rolled into one.
