About
Having studied the sun at the Mirrorlight Promenade in the Sunbeam Ruins and the moon and stars at The Observatory in the Starfall Isles, Noelani has become an accomplished astronomer. She has had papers published in scientific journals, covering topics like constellation charts and comet appearances. Those who have any interest in the sky at all know who she is.

Having just published her findings on the subject of star lifespans, Noelani traveled to the Sea of a Thousand Currents because at that time of year, she could observe some constellations she wasn't as familiar with. And while she came to the Land of Colored Sand to see a different patch of sky, she stayed because she found something she wasn't expecting at all: love.

Noelani fell fast for Kalani, a handsome pearlcatcher, both attentive and a great listener. He was fascinated by her research and loved learning about space. They became a mated pair and she moved to live within Clan Aguadaega's territory to be with him.

Currently, Noelani has a telescope set up of her own in one of the towers in the Coral Castle. She records the traveling patterns of the stars down to the minute most nights. She's hoping to compile enough notes to put together a whole new paper to publish. For her, the phrase "the sky's the limit" doesn't even come close!



Etymology: The name "Noelani" means "heavenly mist" from Hawaiian noe "mist" and lani "heaven, sky, royal, majesty".
