Calamitas

At the very fringe of clan territory a leyline of incredible power lays buried beneath the sands, ripe for the picking for those who wield magic. It is there Calamitas dwells, her innate gift for magic so strong that it was child's play to tap into and manipulate that power. She is not a member of the clan, though repeated efforts to repel her have been fruitless; not even the combined might of all the spellweavers can break through her layers of concealment. If she was simply living in clan territory, eking out a peaceful existence, it would be a non-issue. However, the Imperial practices magic most foul, the stain of which has started seeping into the land itself - something sure to anger the Stormcatcher should he take notice.

Why she uses her magic for twisted means is unknown to all but Calamitas herself. Very few details are known about her in general, only that she is a pitch-dark Imperial, bedecked with red opalescence and wearing rather ghastly apparel topped with a distinctive witch's hat. Personality-wise, next to nothing known once again, as she does not appear before any of the clan aside from Cosmilite, a dragon not known for being particularly sociable. They have some sort of agreement, the details of which are of course very secret, with Cosmilite using her powers to further his own agenda and his physical abilities serving her in turn.

All of this makes for a very compelling argument some dragons of the clan use to scold hatchlings with. "If you don't behave, the infernal witch will snatch you away!"
